If you want to create more success, meditation is not a nice to do, but a must do.
You must get quiet in order to get back in the driver’s seat of your life.
The mind controls body, but it’s the breath that controls the mind.
Martin Luther King was said to have meditated 1 hour every day and when he had a particularly busy day, would meditate for 2 hours.
At first, during meditation, you will hear lots of chatter. That’s great, don’t be discouraged, this chatter has been there all along, you are just now beginning to hear it.
In the silence, begin to watch your thoughts slow down.
Notice them, and decide which thoughts are empowering and which thoughts are disempowering.
At this point, you have more choices, you are more in control during the day.
Meditation is not about what happens during the meditation but how you show up for your life. That’s the true benefit.
